clips don't appear on clip organizer

I entered narration clips on several slides over a period of a few days now when I open the presentation i don't get the speech and the clip organizer shows no clips. Where did they go?

Some event has disconnected the presentation from the SpeechOver speech file. You need to reload the speech file into the presentation. Proceed as follows: from the SpeechOver main menu perform SpeechOver/Open. You see the speech file and the backup file in the _speechfiles subdirectory. Select the speech file and load it. Your narration clips should now be visible.
